Description
Goshen Friends School was established in 1959 as a kindergarten for the children of local farming families. Our founder, Barbara Dixon, envisioned a school filled with joyful learners; where all would be “welcomed, respected and appreciated.” Today, Goshen Friends School is a Quaker, PAIS (Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools) accredited, coeducational, country day school for children, preschool through grade five. Visit Goshen Friends School and experience a sense of caring and acceptance which makes learning blossom.
Guided by the Quaker values of equality, integrity, simplicity, community and peace, Goshen Friends School provides a strong academic foundation through a responsive curriculum and small classes to nurture joyful learning.

We had a bad experience here. My perception was that they were more interested in filling up their “Fives” program rather than enrolling five year olds who were more than ready in the Kindergarten class. I guess that makes sense because they can then get two years of tuition out of you rather than one.
