Description

Located 25 miles west of Philadelphia in Chester County, PA, the Great Valley School District has a population of 22,500. The district encompasses an area of 43.3 square miles and includes Charlestown, East Whiteland and Willistown Townships, plus the borough of Malvern.

Great Valley is a comprehensive public high school with an enrollment of 1232 students in grades 9 through 12. The professional staff numbers 111 and is fully accredited. Great Valley High School has been recognized by the United States Department of Edu- cation for “Excellence in Education.” The district maintains academic partnerships that include the Desmond Project, Sports Marketing, the Danish Exchange Program, and Social Entrepreneurship and Community Leadership with Penn State Great Valley.
