At Kendal-Crosslands Child Development Center I & II our objective is to provide a safe and cognitively stimulating environment for the children in our care. We draw from a child’s natural curiosity. We also focus on social and emotional growth, including clear limits, positive reinforcement, and a stable environment to encourage the child to develop self-control, self-esteem, and to respect himself and others.

Schedules are individual for each room and based on children’s needs. Teachers develop a creative curriculum that develops cognitive, creative, language, art, science, dramatic, social, self-help, gross motor, and motor skills. We have an intergenerational focus. Preschool includes swimming and learn to swim programs as well as gymnastics and fitness programs.
