The people who work here are friendly and interested in getting to know my child. However, as a former educator in PA, I am almost certain that the teachers who are advertised as “certified at this school really are not. PA has really tough certification standards. Upon graduating from college a teacher is only temporarily certified. They need to obtain 24 more credits and three years of teaching before being permantely certified in PA. After that, PA teachers now need to meet an Act 48 requirement every 5 years which means teachers now have to take 6 credits every 5 years. Something tells me that the teachers at this school have not completed the requirements in PA or kep up with them along the way. Just saying…
