Description

New Garden Elementary School is a kindergarten through fifth grade school located in Chester County, 25 miles southwest of Philadelphia and 15 miles northwest of Wilmington, Delaware.

Activities offered at all of the elementary schools include: Orchestra, Band, Chorus, Orff Ensemble, Recorder Ensemble, Junior Great Books, Reading Olympics, Math Olympiad, Math 24 Club, D.A.R.E., Book Fairs, Author/Illustrator Visits, Business Partnerships, Intergenerational Classroom Partnerships, Spanish Language Classes, Cultural Enrichment Programs, Rotary Readers and more. Daycare is provided before and after school hours by the local Y.M.C.A.

An active PTO holds monthly meetings with guest presenters giving talks on various topics pertaining to the elementary child. PTO activities include Book Fairs, Family Fun Night, Movie Night, Holiday Shoppe, Family Dance, Talent Show, Silent Auction, Bingo Night and other activities that support the home school connection.
