Penn Wood Elementary School is one of ten elementary schools in the West Chester Area School District, located in scenic Chester County, just 30 miles west of Philadelphia. There are 470 students and 50 faculty and staff members. The school is set in an extraordinary natural spot surrounded by trees. The setting offers many outdoor learning opportunities across disciplines in every season. At the same time, the technology available in classrooms and the library facilitates curriculum connections for all students and teachers.
