At St. Matthew’s School, our philosophy is to provide children with a preschool and Kindergarten experience that is developmentally enriching while being safe and nurturing in a Christian environment predominated by love and sharing. We respect each child as a unique individual with unique needs and experiences. We strive to create a host of experiences that allow each child to learn, to explore and to grow in all areas of development.

We serve 2, 3, 4 and 5 year olds as well as Kindergarten. Our preschoolers are provided with a choice of 2, 3 or 4-day classes while our 5 year olds have the option to attend 5 days of the week. All preschool classes are half day for 2! hours per day. Our Kindergarten is full day and provides children with a rich learning environment that allows for mastery of Kindergarten level skills.

Our facility is in a state of the art education wing built 5 years ago. The bright and welcoming environment draws the students in and makes them feel comfortable. Our fenced in playground was installed in the fall of 2004 and meets all current safety requirements. The church sits on a beautiful piece of land, which encourages outdoor exploration and frequent visits to the beautiful children’s garden.
