We are so proud of our learning community. Our students love to learn! Staff members, parents and students work together to create a positive learning environment. They are responsible for the spirit in our school- you will see lots of smiles and enthusiasm in our classrooms and hallways.

Our staff believes that learning is a lifelong process- a journey we all take together. Students come to Sugartown with a variety of backgrounds, experience, skills and abilities. The staff is dedicated to creating educational opportunities where each child can grow as an individual, as a learner and as a member of our community. Students are encouraged to use their gifts, talents and best efforts in becoming lifelong learners and good citizens.

Our district wide curriculum promotes academic excellence. Our students participate in individual and grade level instructional activities, field trips and special curricular events such as classroom presentations, grade level vocal concerts and assembly presentations. Students have opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities such as intramural sports (gr 4-5), LEGO club (gr 1-5), Envirothon (gr 1-5) and Student Council (gr 3-5).

Communication and collaboration between home and school are critical to building a strong partnership for students. We appreciate the many ways that parents support our school and are involved in classrooms and PTO sponsored events.
