The purpose of Unionville Nursery School is to provide a flexible and stimulating program sensitive to the needs of the individual child in a group setting. Opportunities are provided for each child to develop: the ability to interact with peers and adults, a positive self image, confidence in new situations outside the home, listening skills, the ability to follow directions and, in general, a positive first large group experience.

Typical activities at Unionville Nursery School include the following: free play, circle time, Surprise Box, snack, outdoor play, arts and crafts, music, science lessons, field trips, story time, group games, and Christmas and year-end programs.

We offer a two day per week program for three year olds on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and a three day per week program for four year olds on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Both programs begin at 9:00 a.m. and dismiss at 11:30 a.m.
