Description
Come to Freskada to enjoy the town center experience of walking next door to pick out your favorite wine or spirit and then walk back and let us open it for you while you watch the show in our open theater Kuzina. Eat indoors or enjoy the fresh air and soft music playing in the background on our spacious patio. This is how dining was always meant to be. Our homey atmosphere along with a healthy supply of extra virgin olive oil (the staple of any Mediterranean diet), the freshest meats, vegetables, and seafood we can find, and some of the best made from scratch hand-tossed pizza in Chester County. We hope to show our inspiration, passion and pride in every meal we make.

I recently hosted a dinner for a group of 24 at this restaurant. Although the food was good, the experience quickly became a nightmare when it came time to pay the bill, and the owner wound up placing unauthorized and wrongful charges on my credit card after several attempts by him to cheat us out of more money than we’d agreed to.
First, although the owner had provided me a written fixed price menu in advance that included tax and tip, he charged us tax and tip on top of that agreed price, and insisted that taxes and tip had not been included. Only after I showed him the written price he’d provided me did he grudgingly relent that taxes and tip were included.
Second, we were charged an additional $13 for an alleged extra appetizer one of the tables had ordered. It turns out that the table only asked for plain pita bread, which the servers brought withiout mention about an extra charge. Since when do restaurants charge extra for bread, much less $13???
Last, I collected the correct fixed price amount from each diner and counted it out to be sure the total was correct. A second diner even counted the money to be sure it was enough to cover the bill. Nonetheless, after handing it over to the owner, he insisted that we were short of money and charged my credit card an additional $79, including the $13 additional charge for the bread!
Needless to say, I am contesting this charge with my credit card company, and Freskada has just lost 24 potential customers. For those of you who consider dining here, I hope our experience will give you insight and make you think twice. Had there been only a single incident during our dinner we may have been able to overlook it, however, three such incidents definitely indicates to me that the owner was trying to cheat us and has no qualms about taking advantage of his patrons in order to benefit himself. Freskada does not deserve your business.
