From the web: Special Teas Tea Room has been in business for over 12 years and is owned by two sisters Carole Bradley and Judith Finnagan. All the pastries including a variety of scones are handmade by Judith.
It is known as one of the best and most elegant Tea Rooms. It offers a wide selection of Menu Items and an extensive Selection of Tea. It is located in the Chadds Ford area and has hours 6 days a week with Sunday reserved for Special Events (parties). There is a Gift Shoppe area that offers tea essentials that is open 7 days a week. Catering is also available. Reservations are suggested.
Special Teas has a unique and vast gift shoppe featuring foods and gifts from England. We have a nice selection of hand made tea cozies, and giftware. Our teapots come from all over the world, including England. What better way to throw your own tea party with our invitations, gift cards, and a wide selection of gourmet loose teas. Lemon curd, Devonshire Cream, and our home made scones are always available.
Our gift shop also carries a nice selection of Tea Books and one of a kind tea gifts for the tea lover in your life. We also carry a selection of boxed teas from England, Ireland, and Scotland. We now carry the new and very popular Rooibos Tea from South Africa in vanilla and peach flavors.
