When browsing individual places, you’ll now see a “Directions” link below the location map. Clicking that link will open a new window to Google Maps where you can enter a starting address and get turn-by-turn directions to your place of choice.

We’ve just created a Twitter account (discoverchesco), making it easier for you to find out the newest updates to our website. Every time a new place is added to the site, a tweet will be sent to all our followers. Click here to check it out »

Starting today, you can now write your own reviews for any of the places featured on discoverchestercounty.com. Simply visit any place’s individual page and you’ll find a “User Review” form at the bottom of the page. You’ll also be able to read other visitors’ reviews of places in and around Chester County. We look forward to hearing what you think of your local businesses!

Our new “Suggest a Place” form is now up and running. While we will continue to add as many businesses and local attractions we can find, we encourage you to submit your favorite places in and around Chester County.

Our initial Events section is beginning to take shape. Powered by Yahoo’s Upcoming.org service, you’ll find events in and around Chester County (within about 25 miles or so). We hope to enhance this section in the future, but for now Events should automatically be updating as they are entered at the Upcoming.org website.

You may have noticed that we’ve begun populating our database of Chester County restaurants, services and a few other areas. We think restaurants will be one of our most popular categories, so we’re focusing on them initially. If you’d like us to concentrate on other areas, please contact us and we’ll start researching!

Our goal is to provide an easy way for people living in, relocating to or visiting Chester County, PA to find just about anything in and around the area.

We hope to offer new ways of discovering and promoting local businesses and areas of interest, as well as provide resources for both long-term Chester County residents and people new to the Southeastern Pennsylvania region.
