The Brandywine Valley Wine Trail is made up of eight family-owned vineyards and wineries. Located in the rolling hills of Chester County, PA, between Philadelphia and Lancaster, the Trail wineries produce a variety of award-winning regional wines.

Va La Vineyards

From the web: Va La is a microwinery, devoted to the creation of wines from a tiny piece of land. The home vineyard contains 6.73 acres of land. The wine is produced in batches of one to nine barrels. Total production is approximately 500 to 700 cases a year. The winemaker is the caretaker of the vines, and the fruit is harvested by hand.

The Vineyard overlooks the Brandywine Creek from its south facing slopes just north of Unionville, PA in Southern Chester County.

We have an excellent vineyard site in the heart of southern Chester County on a south-facing slope with heat retaining, well drained, schisty soil. When you come to taste our wines, you are welcome to take a stroll in the vineyard to check the development of the coming vintage.
